Stay healthy. Otherwise irrelevant. Not going to watch tonight or Friday. More interested in the other games going on.

Actually might be more fun to watch tonight since they are resting a crap load of players in Lafreniere and Kakko can get first power play time.

A Libor Hajek sighting, when's the last time that happened?

Yeah, this game is super exciting. Who else they've got in Hartford. Call all of them up for the next game.

I will not miss Georgiev when he is gone. That's for sure. Nemeth is so bad that he ended up with -2 against the worst team in NHL. The third pair is a huge concern.

I would feel much, much better about this team in the playoffs if Motte and Blais were playing. Am I alone in thinking that Rooney pretty much sucks? For a guy Sam and Joe heap praise on as a role player, he sure sucks. He's not good on faceoffs. He pretty much never hits anybody. His offensive skills are poor. His skating is not very good. I would not put three young players out on the third line. Chytil has done nothing to deserve the 3rd line center position. At the very least, Lafreniere and Kakko have both become solid defensive players.

They definately are weak as far as 4th line duties compared to alot of other teams going into the playoffs. Rooney hasn't been nearly as effective as he was before his injury. Getting what they have from him since he was signed is probably all you could ask for based on his talent level. They've gotten by well without Blais but no Motte zaps them of what he brings.

Blais hits like a mack truck. His loss showed up ton in the Canes games. The Canes are soft. They try to act tough but if you hit them which the Rangers never do they fold. Maybe it's because there are so many ex Rangers on that team. I don't know. That shoudn't matter as much of our team is new. The Canes have outscored the Bruins 16-1 in the three games they have played them. The Canes have had a hard time with Washington and Boston this year. Rangers only chance to make a run is to obviously get the second round and hope the Canes are knocked out in the first round.

If they find a way to bring Motte back it could be an upper level 4th line next year, with Blais and maybe Goodrow bumped down to it. Reaves can rotate in too.
