His stock is really high right now and he has won a championship already in college so I think it's a good choice that he made.

i'm glad he made that decision, cause his stock is high, and he won't risk getting a big injury, (like mcgahee).

not surprising he is going pro. it's hard to pass up the opportunity of being selected in the top 3. i would have liked to see him play 1 more year and defend the title. i wonder if warrick will enter now, too?

one scout who reports for ESPN has melo ranked #1, darko #2, and lebron dropping to #3

He is entering the draft right now at the top of the world. He is unbelievably talented. I hope however he takes summer school so he can get a degree. I have unbelievable respect for those players that leave early (Carter, etc.). There is a life after basketball and so he will have a great future planned out.

I wouldnt be surprised if he is the number one pick in this years draft. Most will disagree but it is a possibility. He has shown he can dominate the best players at the college level in crunch time. I think he may go number one.

I dont rreally think he wants to leave. He was crying and all. Just like Jordan when he left UNC. Coach probably told him that he has to go for the better.

cuz it was a surprise....although he accomplished his goal, that squad could win 4 National title in a row in they had to....they were extremely talented and Melo was the leader of that team....just some ppl think they kno everything and try to act cool about stuff

If I'm the one that tries to act cool then you are the one that tries to hard to be mister free thinker and mister sophisticated with your constant comments about having to "not let ignorant people bring you down" when that was irrelevent the conversation and trying to act like mister mature when people were making light of a situation. It was only obvious that he was going to come out. It shouldn't have been a shock. Sure he made comments that made it sound like he was going to stay, but what did you expect? Did you think that he was really going to say, "I'm gone, see ya in the next lifetime," just after they won the National Championship? If you go by what people say all the time then I guess Roy Williams still really, "Don't give a sh!t about North Carolina."

making light of a situation was referring to you in the J-Kidd thread in the playoff forum...you really do try to hard to be different and, to be frank, it's really sad.
