Wenger prefers to field a young team for the Carling Cup so I'd expect to see several of our pups (Vela, Gibbs, Denilson, Ramsey, etc.) involved in this derby. Wenger has already annoucned Szczesny will play in goal. Hopefully we see some experience (Eboue, Rosicky, etc.) in the lineup. Not the most important contest but I'd hate for Tottenham to field a full roster of starters, win, and celebrate like they have accomplished something.
Yeah he and a few others got kicked to oblivion on the weekend so I wouldn't be surprised. Chamakh as well.
I don't think Ramsey will play. I'm so sick of this shit about fielding our "Young team", fuck we aint that young anymore, we should just field a good team and slaugther these cvnts on the pitch.
One word: conditioning. The game was even for the first hour. Twitch decided to make early substitutions and although they provided some instant gratification, ultimately I think his decision cost his team the game. Once we started creeping towards 90-minutes, with our fresh subs on and theirs 25-minutes wearier, the game started to tilt our way. The extra time penalties were the result of the Sp*rs defenders being tired and unable to keep hold of our attacking forwards. At the end of extra time they all but fell over with little to no attempt to disrupt our possession play. Kudos to the Arsenal training staff and our young players for having great conditioning.
Exactly. Wilshere got kicked all over the place but was my Man of the Match. Fantastic work-rate. Once he matures he'll probably start adding goals to his game much like Fabregas did last season.
Great spurs fans, left the stadium empty 15 minutes before it ended...lol. Take that Harry you fat cvtn!!!
I agree those dirty spuds were trying to hurt wilshire. Must have been Harry's tactic to stop our attack but credit to Nasri to also help run the show. Wilshire amazed me at how tough he is for his size, he was getting some hard tackles.
