The IPB SEO module is encrypted, so I needed to install ioncube in apache to decode it. It was causing core dumps (seg faults) on the apache server child processes when the server got to a certain busy point. I thought that loading ioncube before eaccelerator might solve the problem (some googled WWW pages said it might), but no luck. I just switched from eaccelerator to APC. If you see the site noticably slower, let me know.
