Traditional martial artists, especially the "energy masters", haven't caught on to the fact that their time is running out. This seems to happen whenever they aren't competing against one of their own acolytes. The video below shows MMA fighter Xu Xiaodong responding to a challenge from self described Tai Chi master Wei Lei. The brief fight goes about how you'd expect. Afterward Xu tells the crowd that Tai Chi is a scam which has led to some controversy. Wei has claimed that he was holding back so as not to kill Xu with his iron fist or some bullshit. TMA is rooted in Chinese culture and many still believe in the arts as being semi-mystical.

Apparently Xu is self-taught. Not sure how he would do against someone who Tranes UFC but he's certainly real enough to deal with that scammer.
