Well, he's a part of the World team in the NBA Africa game: http://www.csnnw.com/portland-trail-blazers/cj-mccollum-play-team-world-nba-africa-game-2017
I thought he was taking the summer off from playing to fully recover from his injury and work on his individual game. Team Africa: Team World: BNM
Yep, and Sefalosha and Capela are both from Switzerland, and Oladipo was born in Maryland. I don't think they care all that much.
Team Africa is open to any current or past players born in Africa, or that have a parent who was born in Africa. Sefalosha's dad is African. Schroeder's mom is African. Both of Capela's parents are African, as are both of Oladipo's parents. BNM
And Oladipo from the US, and Sefolosha from Switzerland... Deng plays for GB but was at least born in the Sudan. I'm surprised that Antetokounmpo isn't playing - I'm pretty sure he was born in Africa even though his parents settled in Greece.
Nic has played in this before. As long as a parent is from there, like Olympics. On a side note, and this may upset some of you that voted for Trump or live in the suburbs, but aren't we ALL officially from Africa?
It would be pretty politically incorrect but I'd love to see what a "team white guys" vs "team black guys" would look like.
Funny you should mention this, when we were all at BBF before the migration here, I started a thread asking the exact same thing. Could a team of white players win a gold medal in the Olympics.......I got fucking SUSPENDED FOR A WEEK!
Sounds like fake news. As I recall, the Blazers mods were pretty laid back on BBF (until the end, when Basil the Lakers fan took over as the community migrated away).
That's what I believe I posted. Gets weird though when you try to start grouping people into races. I believe a person from France could be considered white, but are people from Spain? Or are they Latin? Ginobli looks white, but is he? I'm half Polish and half Mexican, but on all my documents from when I was born and growing up, my mom always put Hispanic.
