    Happy to see no options and kickers, but I'm not sure the need to do this now. His caphold would have been miniscule in comparison to that 26.5 number.

    Yes, I know we won't have any capspace next year to do anything in free agency with our roster as is, but it would have been nice to have some flexibility if a need came up to open up 15 mil of space in a trade.

    The four year agreement is also interesting as I think he could have been eligible for a 5 yr deal.

    Olshay is listening to Lillard and Stotts, and they are saying "Let's ride this horse to the end". The Blazers have a strong, young core. Lillard, CJ, Crabbe, Leonard, Aminu, and raw, high-reward players like Vonleh and Connaughton. Given time to gel, this team could make noise in the West.

    I suppose also a max contract for CJ would be higher next summer after the cap rises, yeah? So this would be a steal of a deal in that regard.
