Earl Clark scored a season-high 33 points (12/24 FGs) in a 113-105 Bakersfield Jam (2-3) home victory over the Santa Cruz Warriors (3-2).
Bakersfield got off to a strong start offensively and defensively as they shot 52.4 percent from the field, while holding Santa Cruz to just 35.0 percent, and finished the opening quarter with a 31-20 advantage. The Jam built their biggest lead of the game (15) in the second period, but cooled down from the field in the final minutes and had their double-digit lead sliced into single digits at the break (51-45).

Both teams scored 31 points in the third, keeping it a six-point edge for Bakersfield. The final frame saw the first lead change of the game, when an Elliot Williams trey gave Santa Cruz an 89-86 lead at the 9:07 mark. The Jam would trail by as many as five points, but would respond with a 16-6 run of their own to take back control of the game. Bakersfield held their ground down the stretch and made key defensive stops to secure the win.

Xavier Munford scored 24 points and dished out six assists off the bench for Bakersfield. Terrico White posted 20 points and six rebounds, while Deonte Burton finished with 12 points and six assists. C.J. Wilcox also scored in double-figures (10).

Elliot Williams paced the Warriors with 33 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists. Darington Hobson added a double-double with 24 points and 10 rebounds, while Daniel Orton tallied 17 points.

The Jam will next travel to the east coast to take on the Fort Wayne Mad Ants on Friday, November 27 at 4:30 p.m. PT.
