Something I really didn't know about him.
    Quite impressive, actually.

Hopefully he can keep this streak up as a coach... But as our coach.

When your coach knows what it takes to win at the highest level and is considered the MVP of that win.....you've got a sparkplug on your team. I have complete confidence in Chauncey....he'll continue to add to his coaching game just like he did to his Mr Big Shot game.

He did pretty well his first few years coaching in Indiana. It was his time with the Knicks, and any attempt he made at being an executive, that were complete failures.

Many have failed when they are linked to the Knicks.

I'm surprised you didn't mention Magic or Bird...not all HOFers are coaching material....Chauncey is the best leader of all 3 of those guys....even as a player ...the other three were more talented but Chauncey is maybe a bit smarter and more in tune with role players than superstars....

Bird was an excellent coach. Magic... not so much.

I think as an X's and O's guy Bird was a good coach but not a great communicator. I don't think he cared a lot about that side of coaching. He definitely had the respect of his players

Hard to absolutely decimate your opponent with trash talk when you are relying on other players who can't quite walk the walk. Bird was one of a kind and played the game within the game better than anyone.
