#9 Oklahoma State at #2 Texas Tech (ABC: 8:00PM) #1 Alabama at #16 LSU (CBS: 3:30PM) #21 California at #7 USC (ABC: 8:00PM) #12 TCU at #8 Utah (CSTV: 8:00PM) I just have a feeling TCU will take this game
Ball State is playing Northern Illinois tonight on ESPN2. The Cardinals are still undefeated, but this should be a fairly competitive game. They both have good defenses and NIU has lost their three games by a total of only 11 points. That said, I think Ball State will win for two reasons 1) It's a home game, and 2) Nate Davis. Should be a good one tonight. I think the line (BSU -9.5) is too big, though. NIU should cover.
Does anybody else have a feeling that this is the week PSU loses? I've got this odd, gut feeling that Iowa wins.
Maryland hasn't been able to get Da'rel Scott involved in this game so far. Tech's run defense has been exceptional.
They'll have to settle for a FG due to a somewhat questionable call by the official. It's 17-3 Va Tech at half.
Turner gets sacked and fumbles the ball to start the second half. Va Tech's d-line has been phenomenal tonight.
Did I mention that Darren Evans is a hell of a back? Damn, 160 yards on 16 carries. Crazy stiff-arm in the open field; reminds me of Ray Rice's.
Va Tech with a tremendous effort on punt coverage preventing that kick from getting into the end zone. Maryland will have to start from their own 2-ish yard line. And with the pentration Tech's line has been getting, I wouldn't be surprised if we see a safety, or at least see Maryland get pushed back even more.
Darrius Heyward-Bey is ridiculously fast. Lightning with the ball in his hands. It's now a 20-10 ball game.
Maryland blocks a punt, and then on the subsequent play, they get Da'Rel Scott in space for a big gain. The momentum is shifting.
