So now we will hopefully have the Dish/Direct TV customers in the Seattle area pushing for Comcast and Dish/Direct TV to strike a deal.

How does everyone feel about this? That they decided to put Blazers out in Seattle first, before serving half of the loyal blazer fans in Oregon who still can't watch blazer games? Seriously, wtf, get the damn Dish deal done for Oregonians at least ffs.

Only the people in Seattle with Comcast will get the CSN Seattle channel. Same situation as here in Portland.

I think the two issues are completely unrelated.

Oh sweet Zombie Jesus, what the fuck is with this?

Get the problem fixed in Portland first before you show it there. Idiots.

That's great and all, but how about us Oregonians with Charter Cable? I'm really not looking forward to finding game links online in order to watch my home state's only pro sports team.:tsktsk:

Ummm ... this deal was done in Seattle because it was a carriage deal ON COMCAST up there. So no negotiations needed. That's why this was done before deals with other carriers in Oregon.

It's good news for Seattle basketball fans, at least they'll get to see plenty of Blazer games.

Do you think Comcast only has one single guy that manage all areas they provide service? This is a huge corporation that can in fact multitask. There's no reason to think that providing a Channel that the corporation owns to another region they already provide service in has any relation at all to selling the rights to broadcast the channel through different providers. Two completely unrelated things.

Ah fuck. Dish customers are still left out to dry before the season. 55 games? That's bullshit. I'll never support Comcast with cable, internet, or phone service, EVER. I've got FIOS and my Sunday Ticket on DirecTV, and I'll stay as far away from Comcast and their rediculous prices as possible.

Regardless of the reasons, the casual fan is going to see Seattle getting Blazer games while half the state of Oregon is still left in the dark.

Maybe if Comcrap stopped blowing out their budget on ads they would lower their demands to the satellite companies. :dunno:

Comcast isnt asking for any more $$$ for CSNNW then what Dish/Direct TV agreed to pay for other CSN channels in the past. Dont be so quick to point the blame on Comcast. Dish/Direct TV are just as much at fault IMO.

Um, not sure what that has to do with you lying about Comcast's demands for this channel as opposed to some of their other regional networks.
