    On their selection to the Hall of Fame. Respected both as players and thought they should have gotten there before this time.

    I had a very close friend; and baseball fan-atic, moreso a lifelong Tigers fan; living an hr north of Detroit.

    Not only did he miss the Cubs winning the Series by a month, he'd of died a 2nd time to hear this news. Hardcore Tigers fans have said for yrs both belonged in the HOF....

    I've gotta' agree. Morris (w/3 W.S. Rings) & both w/a W.S. Mvp Trophy

    IF up the middle combo's were put into the HOF, both Trammel and Whittaker would of been inducted....

    great day for Tiger's fans, of which I am not one....still kudos to both Mr Splitty and ~!~
