I am not a big college football guy. I figure we will draft around middle of the pack this year. Who are some of the better players at CB, MLB and OLB that will probably still be sitting there at that point? I may have to try to catch a game and hope for Gunther to talk Carl into drafting them.
I don't know that he is top 5 talent, but so many teams are desperate for CBs that he could sneak in there at #5. KC, if he falls to the middle where you expect to be, he would be a good grab.
Corey Webster and Travis Daniels of LSU will probably 1st and 2nd round choices, respectively. Webster is having a bit of an off year, and may slip to early 2nd. Daniels may stay until the 3rd. Both were extremely reliable last year, but not as much this year...but the D as a whole hasn't been as good this year.
Thanks guys. The ACC games will be easy to catch here in Virginia. With Va Tech and UVA practically on my doorstep, and NC state and Duke just across the border a bit. I am a Kentucky (SEC) fan, but they don't give me much reason to watch when it comes to football. Maybe one day that program will get tyrned around. Seems like it always takes a second seat to roundball.
Well Miami plays VA and Vtech in consecutive weeks so you should be able to see the most dominant defensive player in college football . . .Antrell Rolle
Yeah, but will they win? The local Sports shows on talk radio here have UVA winning and Tech making it a good game at least?
