Interesting interpretation of the term ‘Karen’ here. I think of Karens as the ones running around bitching and demanding others follow rules and regulations, not the other way around.

Yeah I bet that parent is a real laid-back and totally down to earth person. Those kids need to stop playing at recess, they are being Karens.

The women who yell at kids working fast food jobs because they’re told to wear a mask? Karens.

I always figured Karens were just petty trouble makers. But girls.

If the phrase “How dare you” was a person, that’s a Karen.

This seems logical... If you aren't current on all recommended vaccines you're not fully vaccinated.

Got Covid booster yesterday. Mild sore arm, flu shot was worse. Hopefully done with any needles except for knitting.

It's not logical to need a booster so soon... If the shots were highly effective.

Of course it does because the virus mutated so much. You keep on judging this virus as if it is any other virus we are familiar with. There is a reason this caused a world wide pandemic which we have not had in the last 100 years.

The expectations that we will fix it immediatly are absurd. This is not situation normal and unfortunately all the people that tried to treat it as such and continue to treat it as such are causing it to stay around longer.

Some people can’t grasp this reality. I’m not saying they are dumb.

I’m getting my booster on Tuesday, almost 6 months to the day after my second shot. Sometimes (actually often) “logical” comes in second to “peace of mind”. I recently spent most of a week wandering through unmasked and unvaccinated Wyoming, Nebraska and Kansas. Those folks act like they never heard of a pandemic, or the protocols involved in dealing with one. Yet I made it through without getting sick. I give virtually ALL the credit to the vaccine (with a shout out to masks…worn by me…and proper hygiene, again, by me). You don’t seem to appreciate people being “shamed” for not being vaccinated, yet I get the feeling you’re trying to shame people who get the boosters. You can’t play it both ways……….

BTW…..I’ve been inoculated against Hep B for decades. It is a VERY effective vaccine. However, based on health issues, body chemistry, life styles, etc, etc, etc, some people require a booster, as their immunity drops over time. It doesn’t mean the vaccine in ineffective, just that not all humans react the same to all things (unless it’s death and taxes of course….). Boosters are exactly that; boosters.
