It's FAKE NEWS
yeah, I think that's what is going on, and next, even if every hospital in Florida is full, there may be open ICU beds in Georgia and Alabama, and those two states adjoin other states, so mobility of goalposts would just increase
it's just bizarre. It's like saying all hospitals in the Willamette valley are full, but Oregon is fine because there are some open beds in LaGrande, Burns, Ontario, and Lakeview
Just got back from Astoria/Fort Stevens....extremely busy, the roads are as busy as they always are.
Showers in the park closed notb as many park rangers but the place was packed with huge family celebrations.
When explored around we always wore our mask, but just the two of us around campfire mask came of.
We are fully self contained so we didn't need to use park heads and I watch people from a distance go in without mask, may be 60 % had mask on.
We were able to drive a mile or so south on the beach and park, zero people around, chairs & devil dogs out. Thats was as therapeutic for the spirit as it gets.
Now, Im back here in the forum bubble just trying to catch up on the drama and ALL THE FAKE NEWS....lol
KWest has my vote!..................if Biden takes a bad turn with his cognitive abilities.
Love Fort Stevens, the camp ground and the historical site.
Isaac Stevens was racist against Native Americans.
We did tae kwon do camp there.
Karate kid levels in front of the Peter Iredale in the AM.
...gotta love the retro-active racism BS.
all this except ....life has never been normal..it should become normal though
Coronavirus Surge in Tulsa ‘More Than Likely’ Linked to Trump Rally
Dr. Bruce Dart, the director of the Tulsa Health Department, said Tulsa County had reported nearly 500 new cases of Covid-19 in the past two days.
I don't know if it was the goal but you just validated El Prez's stance on schooling going forward.
Good Job ??????
The 2016 mistake, in a 1000 words.
so, "everybody who wants a test can get one" may still be true here in hawaii, but because of the sunbelt state's surge, in state test PROCESSING will now have to operate at 1/2 capacity as the reagents needed for local labs to complete the tests have been reallocated to testing sites in the states experiencing the current surge. some test results from non-prescribed tests will have to be sent to mainland labs and up to 10 day waits for results.
I propose re-naming it Fort Whatchmacallit.
Is there a message there?

Curious why you think that? In states where the government thinks it should shut down, wouldn't that be a plausible way to get what they want?
FWIW, I can't find any evidence of any state purposely "over-reporting" actual covid cases.
