    Trump seems to think when a vaccine is ready anyone can just go get one and covid-19 will end for good. Everything will go back to normal. Or maybe he just doesn't want to panic people?

    Twitter suspends account of Chinese virologist who claims COVID-19 was developed in a Wuhan lab - as she releases report with 'evidence' that she says backs up her theory
    • Li-Meng Yan's account was taken down on Tuesday after she accused China of intentionally manufacturing and releasing COVID-19
    • Yan has since claimed she was suspended because 'they don't want the people to know this truth'
    • Yan alleges to be a former researcher at the Hong Kong School of Public Health
    • She published a report this week that she claims backs up her theory that China created the virus in a lab
    • Scientists have since slammed her report as 'unsubstantiated' and said it 'cannot be given any credibility'
    • Yan's claims are at odds with Dr Anthony Fauci who has previously disputed that the virus was made in a lab

    It's probably best to remove Trump from everyone's discussions of vaccines given that he just says whatever the heck just pops into his head at the moment. That said, the program to deliver safe and effective vaccines to the American public seem to be on track for mass availability by April of next year:

    Multiple White House staffers may have tested positive for the coronavirus, according to reporters.

    Reporters in the White House press pool received their routine COVID-19 test later than usual on Wednesday morning, reportedly because several employees had tested positive for the disease.

    “The White House called the journalists from the pool 30 minutes late to get our routine covid test. I was told they were late because ‘It was a very busy morning. We had a couple of positives today,'” tweeted journalist Raquel Krähenbühl.

    White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany declined to comment during a briefing after the news broke.
