Cuban fined for having a plan, and Olshey walk scott free for having no plan. Doesn't seem fair

I don't see how you think he has no plan. I think he gave up on LA about 3-4 weeks ago and has been adding young players for a rebuild ever since. Trading Batum for Vonleh, adding Plumlee, and signing Aminu are all clear signs of a plan for rebuilding through young, athletic, affordable players.

The reason i dont think he has a plan is the fact we have a bazillion dollars to spwnd on FA that wont come to Portland. The fact it was known LA wanted out 2 years ago, but held on to him....Why?

Being in scramble mode and making the best of it, is not the same as having a plan

I don't get why the league even bothers with these rules and fines. With all of the media's "sauces," it's not like this news will remain off twitter or anything.

If Cuban really wanted to get something out there, he could just as easily have told Woj, and let Woj report it.

Why? Because like you say FA's won't come to Portland. It's best to do what ever it takes to retain our marquee players, and we probably would had if Wes doesn't go down while being 2nd in the West.

This is like beating up on a dead horse bro. Has it ever occurred to you that maybe he was willing to trade Aldridge away but the owner refused? He still has to answer to Allen

No, because FA's have never come to Portland. You know, the FA's that actually make a difference in your franchise. History Says they won't

And no, we would not have Aldridge. He has wanted out for more than 2 years. Sources, pizza guy, whatever. Several "insiders" that know nothing....apparently, were all told this. It was very common knowledge within the organization.

I think that's exactly what happened, and have said so in other threads. My original comment was strictly tongue in cheek

Billionaires need to lose money for tax write offs anyway.
