WTF? He was fined for that??!!

I'm not even sure it was a flop. He fell away from the defender, fell down, then ran up the court. He didn't bitch at the ref or actually claim to have been fouled.

With the shit the Rockets and Clippers get away with, without being fined, this puzzles me.

I won't compare it to Harden or CP3 because you shouldn't. You look at it, determine if it's a flop and then proceed accordingly.

It was a flop through and through and he should be fined.

It was a pushoff as well.

Yeah, I saw the push off. Run of the mill. Aldridge does it every time he shoots.

And he fell down. Probably hoping to get a call, but he didn't try to "sell it", just kept playing.

The thing I don't understand is how that got a fine, but so many more egregious flops do not.

Terrible, Harden should be fined every game for all the flipping he does on offense. It's disgusting how often he gets calls for throwing his arms up spastically

Funny thing is Roy started doing the same thing as harden, but he would yell and get super pissed at refs that wouldn't call it

They should suspend him a few games too, but then they'd have to give Harden the ole Pete Rose lifetime ban. And maybe kill his family if we are going to be fair.

Not advocating killing Harden's family but maybe a little kidnapping just to force him to shave the beard.

C'mon now... Roy was NOT a flopper. He consistently gave and received real contact. He wasn't one to embellish contact. He did however invent that annoying ass "ayyyy" players are saying when they think they're getting too much contact. Even the kids say it...

Flops used to get called sparingly and usually as a makeup call for refs after a bad call against the other team. Now it's being used way too much to the point of not fooling anyone in the stands anymore. Fining these ultra rich athletes what they blow in a club on a Saturday night is not stopping it from happening.

That's why they shouldn't be fined. .. They should be suspended. Flops should be like a technical. Level one flop means a 1 game suspension. a level 2 flop, 2 game suspension.
Bet players like Harden are not even close to MVP candidates if they just do this...
