https://www.yahoo.com/sports/blogs/...obably-not--play-in-game-3-223523892.htmlhtml Steve Kerr has confirmed that Curry will not play in game 3.
I wouldn't be surprised if he's out for the playoffs. Maybe he'll test it for a quarter, but a sprained knee is nothing to mess with. Which bring us to the question, is Curry really the league's MVP? They don't look any worse without him.
That's just what they're telling us. Who knows how he'll feel when he starts racing around guarding Dame or Aminu.
I wouldn't play him this series unless the Blazers win a game. It would be idiotic to rush him back for nothing.
This. They're only keeping him out because they believe they can win the series against Portland without him, also gives him a little more rest before WCF. If Portland had won game 2 there is no doubt in my kind he would be playing tonight.
Unconfirmed, sort of. http://espn.go.com/nba/playoffs/201...nlikely-play-game-3-vs-portland-trail-blazers
He's just out because he's playing us trust me. Their up 2-0 why not rest him more their going to beat us anyways
I really think Portland will take at least one of these games at home. They were close Wednesday night. Heck, if we can tie it and Curry doesn't return, anything could happen.
Let's try that again with a few less grammatical errors: He's just out because he's playing us, trust me. They're up 2-0. Why not rest him more? They're going to beat us anyway. Nope. Even at a higher grade level, this post is still stupid.
Once he's healthy and not at risk at re-aggravating it, they should play him, because they need a non-rusty Curry for Game 1 against (most likely) San Antonio. A Curry's who been off for around three weeks (when the next round starts) is not going to play at his usual level, no matter how healthy he is. Obviously, they shouldn't rush him back and it doesn't sound like they plan to, but they also shouldn't hold him out more than his knee requires. If he doesn't suffer any setbacks, I'd expect him to play Game 4, whether or not they win Game 3.
