    Drew Crawford had 24 points and connected on a big 3-pointer in the final minute as the Erie BayHawks upended the Oklahoma City Blue 95-84 Thursday night before a crowd of 2,002 at the Cox Convention Center.

    The Iowa Energy (14-12) won 103-94 over the Fort Wayne Mad Ants (17-12) Thursday night at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.

    The Energy were led by Diante Garrett with 23 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Ferrakohn Hall added a double-double with a season high 18 points and 10 rebounds and Memphis Grizzlies assignee Russ Smith added 17 points.

    It was a close first quarter with the Energy and Mad Ants exchanging the lead six times. In the closing minutes of the first quarter, the Energy began to pull away, opening up a 32-22 lead at the end of the quarter. Diante Garrett had nine points in the quarter to lead the Energy.

    The Energy continued to carry the momentum in the second quarter, opening up a 15-point lead mid-way through the second. Iowa held a 60-49 advantage at halftime. Larry Owens, Smith and Hall each had 11 points first half points. Iowa would make seven three-pointers in the half.

    Iowa started the third quarter with two quick three-pointers before the Mad Ants were able to put a run together. Fort Wayne was able to get within four points of the Energy in the middle of the quarter. Iowa was then able to rebuild the lead to 14 points by the end of the quarter to lead 80-66.

    The Mad Ants made an attempt at a comeback during the fourth quarter, pulling within four points with just over 5:00 to play. The Energy offense would step up and quickly rebuilt the lead to 11 points. Iowa would go on to win 103-94 for their fourth straight win.

    Saturday is Hoops For Troops night against the Blue at 7pm at Wells Fargo Arena. Military personnel may purchase $5 tickets for friends and family. The first 500 fans receive a Hoops For Troops T-shirt giveaway.
