    why would it have an asterisk? Because Curry and Thompson won't be in it? Neither won it the past two years.

    Interesting that you should mention them also. Actually at this time the last 5 are not competing. Maybe if Joe Harris accepts and Booker decides to compete also then it will be a better challenge?

    Like every year the contestants change. Some might be the same, but as far as I remember there are also new players pretty much every year. The NBA sends out invites to who they feel are the best available and then fills out the sheet with the competitors. I wouldn't diminish it because so and so didn't accept or couldn't compete.

    Normal three-point shooting is so Larry Bird. The competition needs to modernize and the entire thing needs to be from a 30' arc. Do a step-back and get an extra point.
