I admire Lillard's competitiveness and loyalty. You couldn't draw it up any better. For his sake, I feel for him. I'm not sure there's another person in the entire organization with a similar mindset and he kind of needs that if they're to accomplish what he's aiming for. Maybe the superstar respect he's carving for himself will be an acceptable consolation prize 20 years from now when he's rocking in his LaZBoy.
That’s our point guard. Portland is just as good as anyone else, they just need one season where everyone stays relatively healthy. Just one.
I’m betting 100% it was the Lakers. There was some random rumors in the off-season about him joining LeBron and I would assume AD.
They can still team up with him. Porland will graciously accept them if they burn their old Laker gear.
What a joke of a poll. If Dame and LeBron were on the same team there is no question that they would have a ship, in the east or west.
Yeah, a Lillard/Irving poll made more sense a few years ago, when they were pretty similar quality players (though Irving had more hype). Lillard has improved to a remarkable extent (considering how good he already was) and is pretty obviously a significantly better player.
And the fans have spoken - Although the poll is a bit lopsided, these two have a lot of similarities - Dame: - Age: 30 - Height: 6'2" - Weight: 195 lbs - PPG: 24.2 - APG: 6.5 - RPG: 4.2 Irving: - Age: 28 - Height: 6'2" - Weight: 195 lbs - PPG: 22.4 - APG: 5.7 - RPG: 3.7 This is a good match-up.
