Is like. Is Lillard not considered as a legit star that other stars team up with? Or they don't like him fore some reason?

They probably hate him because his philosophy on teaming up makes them look bad

It’s not Lillard. It’s Portland. The town is not black enough or big enough for most egocentric NBA stars.

What a stupid comment but then again when you consider the source...

LOTS of ex Blazers end up living here...

If people can have spirit animals than as a dog I claim Lillard as my spirit human.

I think Portland is thought of around the league as not black friendly but once players actually get here they love it.

I think the old saying “don’t knock it till you try it” applies.

Well I think you're wrong and using very little info to form that opinion.

Let's be glad you don't get paid for thinking...

See, you listened to that fucking idiot, woman beater, and alcoholic Greg Oden didn't you?

Yeah, Pritchard made that same mistake. You should consider your sources....

No, people don't want to come here because it's a small market and they think it has a poor climate.

It has nothing to do with it being "too white" or Atlanta would get every single player...

I’m sure plenty of ex blazers liked the city, but the lack of diversity has been mentioned by other players that played in Portland, so it’s not really a made up narrative either. It’s not a culturally diverse city, relatively speaking. What is the figure, 80% white? I wouldn’t say its the main reason free agents don’t come, but when you mix it in with the weather, geography (how far away it is from everywhere else,) the taxes, and a team that hasn’t won a championship since the 70s, you’ve got a more complete picture as to why the city/team isn’t a destination. Hopefully that changes with the recent success/culture that Lillard and co have built, but there will always be factors out of their control.

No, only one player. That idiot Oden. And no, Portland isn't 80% white.... Jesus...

You say playerS... Name them and link them or it didn't happen.

I provided a link to my idiot. Got one for yours?

The 2010 census had Portland as 76.1% white.

Portland isn’t 80% white? What is it then, 77%? Oops, my fault.

    It's an extremely accurate comnent.

    Perception vs reality

Luckily for all of you, that reminded me of another joke.

Kid comes home from school and asks his dad to help with some homework. Kid says he needs to know the difference between realistically and hypothetically.

Dad tells his boy to ask his mom if she'd have sex with a stranger for $1,000,000,000. Mom thinks about it and says yes, that money would help our family a lot.

Kid goes back and tells his dad what his mom said, and then his dad told the boy to ask his older sister the same question

Sister responds with an enthusiastic yes because she would be rich.

Kid tells his dad again what his sister said and the dad tells the boy.........

There you go, son. That's the difference. Hypothetically we're stting on $2,000,000,000, but realistically, we're just living with a couple of whores.

And if you include Portland metro area that percentage only goes up.

Right. I wonder if there is another NBA city less diverse? I honestly don’t know, but I have to think Portland is near the bottom.
