I'm about halfway through, and it's a good read, very vivid storytelling.

I'm still waiting on delivery for Miles... the NBA thinks we won't know the difference.

Thanks for sharing that. I brushed shoulders with Dame at a party earlier this year, really wanted to say hi but didn't want to bother him. My bad!

There are a lot of things you can't remember, though.

I realize I have a lot more to base my judgments on than anyone at S2, however.

Did you brush shoulders, or did he ram into you because he was drinking like a fish?

I love Dame and all but coming in after a couple seasons, I thought his shooting was going to be pretty automatic feeling like Curry, or Durant. A guy who it felt like every shot was going to be good, cause they all look good. But his jump shot has regressed. I think he’ll be a streaky shooter his whole career. Hoping I’m wrong. I’d love a 40% season from 3. But I’m now to the point where I cringe often when he pulls up to shoot from midrange on out.

After last years Looong slump the question of Lillards shot has come up a lot. Wether he was injured or seeing different looks from defense nobody knows, but his 3pt field goal percentage took a huge hit after being fairly consistent through his first two years.

Well, its just preseason and he has only played n 2 games , but as of now he is shooting 30% from twos and 18% from distance. I don't think anybody would assume that that will keep up, but the question remains: when will Dame get his shot back?

Hoping its nothing but it is definitely something to keep an eye on.

His shooting might never be what it was those first two years, his finger was all jacked up last season. Hopefully it's not permanent but I'll closely watch his percentages. He was still very effective scoring last year from other spots on the court. But to be a top superstar he needs all the tools.

I read the whole long boring article. I learned nothing, but this was reinforced in my mind:

Lillard's quotes are usually defensive. All he talks about is nonexisting criticism of his personal qualities, which no one is thinking. He's paranoid.

What he should worry about is his upcoming demotion from the top echelon of PGs due to shooting and defense.
