That’s 49 million per year. Must be most ever, yes?

I wonder how much the cap will be raised over the next few years to combat contracts given out.

    I like this.

In an age where stars often shuffle between teams, I am happy to have Dame here guiding our team and our culture.

As will season ticket holder and comcast customers.
They'll offset the cost to keep him, easily.

i remember in the rugby league down here, i think they had a one per team contract called a franchise player that they could basically pay them whatever and it didnt count against their cap.

might not have been league, but sounds like a pretty good idea right about now....

The way I expect the cap to go up, by the end of the contract we're probably going to feel we got a bargain.

One other thing I have to give Dame credit for beyond his on-court performance and his participation in our community....

I thought we’d lose Hood, Kanter, and Curry. Figured we’d lose Aminu or overpay to keep though I don’t think we needed to keep him....

I have no doubt Hood stayed in large part due to the team and culture that Dame has guided onto our team.

As a super-max, isn't he going to adjust to 35% of cap no matter what?
