<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Andre Miller had 24 points and Carmelo Anthony added 20 points and five rebounds to give the Denver Nuggets a 101-95 overtime victory over the Portland Trail Blazers in an exhibition game Monday night.

Zach Randolph had 27 points and 18 rebounds for the Trail Blazers, who have dropped their last three preseason games.

Earl Boykins' turnaround jumper put the Nuggets up 93-92 in the extra period before Anthony, the third overall pick in this year's NBA draft, hit a 7-foot jumper. Denver led the rest of the way.

The victory comes the night after the Nuggets lost 93-91 to Detroit in Syracuse, N.Y.

"We played well and showed some character after flying that far last night," Miller said. "We're playing well together, playing off one another. We've just got to keep working on that."</div>

Melo really is playing very well in pre-season....Nuggets tried the Miller Boykins backcourt as I mentioned in a thread I just created...It worked well

As for the Blazers..Randolph with 27 and 18? WOW...impressive...the talent is there for him to be a very good player.

The nuggets fans should be happy with the play of melo and miller. Zach just had a monster game for blazers.
