Sources say Fisher has indeed been "exploring options and expressing interest in playing again." Fisher posted a workout video on Tuesday. Fisher signed a multiyear contract in 2014 to coach the Knicks but was fired in February by team president Phil Jackson. Fisher will turn 42 this summer and would be the oldest player in the NBA. Should the Blazers be interested?

I hate him more than any Laker. That's saying something with assholes like Rick Fox and Robert Horry on their former players. If we were to sign him, I'd buy his jersey just to burn it. Also, he's about 10 years past his prime. He must be running out of cash with all his sidepieces and baby mamas.
If I liked him as a person I would actually be interested. He would not play many minutes but could be another asset in the locker room and in practice. A better version of Earl Watson in terms of playoff experience/knowledge of what it takes to win. But I just don't like him....so no.
I hate Derek Fisher more than any NBA player. Freshman year he kicked me off a basketball court with his trainer and they were dicks about it.
He played most of his career for the Lakers, that's reason enough to hate him, but he also played for UTA and OKC. That, and he sucks balls and is a bit of a dick. No thanks. BNM
If Phil Jackson won't sign him to become a triangle pt guard, then he's really washed up. Phil keeps saying he can't find players who can play in his system...that's all Fisher ever really did.
