I can't recall a team ever losing 4 of it's 5 starting players in the space of about 10 days. And while we're at it, the last chapter has finally been written in the Roy-Oden-Aldridge dynasty. What a team we might have had! Most depressing of all? In the midst of this monumental meltdown, and with plenty of millions to toss around, we couldn't get a single top-level free agent to sign on the dotted line. What an agony to be a Blazer fan. Has there ever been a franchise as cursed?
That curse has finally been lifted after the final Roy era Blazer is gone. I think Chicago lost 4 of 5 after Jordan retired for the second time. Maybe I'm wrong. What about Cleveland when LBJ first left?
And even worse I don't know how to approach our team come next season. We clearly need new talent in the draft and we could suck enough to get a good pick, but at the same time if Dame and CJ really elevate there games like we think they may, they could put us in a decent position to not only be in higher in the draft, but also lose our pick altogether since we *&$*$& gave it to the Nuggets.
