Torn cartilage in his wrist scoring the winning run yesterday. Had a cortisone shot which hopefully he responds to. If not could be season over.

What a disaster. So sick of these dickheads sliding headfirst and getting hurt. Last year was gleyber. Time for teams to start fining these guys for these slides. Just ridiculous. You can put a fork in didi. Even if he attempts to play which I doubt he won't be anywhere near 100%. Guess we go with andujar, torres, walker and voit across the infield with toe or wade coming in for defense late for andujar moving walker to 3rd. This really sucks. And the way our asshole manager is managing these games we're gonna end up in oakland for the WC unless oakland chokes bigtime

    Ahhhhhh Shit.

If sir Didi requires Surgery, and I bet he will, - watch this will tear the scab open and reopen talks about obtaining Manny effing Machado.

Don't get me wrong I honestly enjoy Machado, but I'm sure he'll be looking for 25 million. We don't need a 25 million dollar shortstop or third baseman, on an already bulging payroll.

Besides I think Machado is in LA for good.
LA doesn't seem to give a shit about payroll limits, they don't give a shit about paying luxury taxes, that's Time Warner Brothers for you hiding behind the new name of Spectrum.
I seriously believe Time Warner Brothers changed their name to Spectrum due to the insanely large class action lawsuit in LA.
TWB-cable is hated here more than the San Andreas and Donald Trump.

    Wow that's damn near extortion.

I thought it was against the law to hold people hostage

For certain it's a bad gig. With Toe or Hechavarria in there the defense won't be hurting. I'd believe Toe to be the better of the two with a stick.

Lillie just curious, how much is a basic Cable Package there in the Bronx???
It's approximately $150.- here for the basic package.
Bums and Halo's games, all 162 of 'em used 2B included in the basic pkg.
4 yrs ago, when Guggenheim group bought t/Bums, Time Warner Bros gave t/Bums a 2.5 Billion $$$ 20 yr deal to exclusively broadcasts all Bums games; approximately 125 Million per year, no wonder the Bums aren't concerned about payroll ceilings and/or luxury taxes. The deal pays approx 2/3rd of their yearly payroll...

In 2013/2014 due to the aforementioned: ESPN/MLB (having to pay a premium for broadcasting) aired 4-5 games a year.

The basic package now only covers the Angels, and SNLA channel or Sports Net LA was created for Bums games only. That costs another 20$$ a month, unless a premium package is purchased thru TWB-C....
The class action lawsuit filed on behalf of approximately 1/2 a million Angelino's, was funded by DirecTV, Dish TV and a few others.

Needless to say the Bums lost that lawsuit, however a subscriber is still paying that extra 20$$ a month. Only people who benefited is DirecTV and MLB-TV, while ESPN's left in the cold where they've always been.
The the avg joe Bums fans, didn't get any consolation out of the lawsuit.
Of course I could give a shit less if I see a Bums game or not....

A self induced injury is just bad karma. Timing of course sucks. Taking his bat out of this so-so offense
will definitely test the rest of the lineup.....

Saw video of Gregorius explaining his situation on MLB Network. MLB "Experts" Thome and Pena both seemed to think Gregorious was a bit exuberant on his actual condition. Both went on to comment that they think the Wild Card Game will be in Oakland and that the Yankees will be on the shit end of the stick.
