    Damian Lillard's baby was due yesterday so could be anytime now. Best wishes for a healthy mother and child.

    Any guesses as to Baby Dame's name? I imagine this board could come up with some good (respectful) ones.

    Sure, sounds fun - but priority is the well-being of the newborn and this bright flashing lights and loud noise are not conducive.

    How about this - when the Blazers get to the WCF, Dame can carry Dame Jr during player introductions? Reasonable compromise?

    BTW, I keep hearing Dame Jr, has it been ascertained it's a boy? I suppose you could name a girl Dame as well.

    I know dude. I was joking with you. Abu Al Banat is "father of daughters". When a man has a boy, his name changes to Abu X where X is the name of that first-born. Abu Al Banat is I believe a "pity" name because he did not make a male heir. (Abu is "father of"). So - your father, if you were the first born, would have been "Abu HCP". Capisce?

    This actually makes Dame, given his first born named Dame jr - Abu Dame Jr.

    With all of Paul Allen's money why hasn't he had a birthing room constructed at the Rose Garden and Stotts can call a timeout when the baby is starting to come. Lillard can make it back in time for when the timeout is up. :D

    The more you know! Thanks fo that, I love that kind of shit. In Greek culture the eldest child gets the father’s first name as their middle name. So my girlfriend in HS, her name was Dina WILLIAM George!!!! I’d always call her “BILL” during sex though.....
