Finally there is something to cheer about at One Arrowhead drive. King Carl (Peterson, GM) stepped down (was relieved of his duties) today and Clark Hunt showed that he does have a backbone by promising to go outside the organization for a replacement. For the first time this season, I feel like talking about some football... Now I'll hold my breath to see if the new GM keeps Herm around for another season. Rumors are that Scott Pieoli (NE) will be Hunt's first target as the new GM. Woo-Hoo!
It seems like Larry Johnson is officially out of KC. Is that Charles kid a worthy starter. Pioli would do wonders for this team that already has some solid talent. How about drafting a CB though, I mean jeez this team hasn't had a good secondary in God knows how long. Pat Surtain and Ty Law are/were not fixes lol. I haven't watched many KC games but it seems like Tyler Thigpen could be the future after the second half of the year. Get some O-linemen, Maybe one more big time WR, and some more young defensive help and this team could be dangerous in the not so distant future.
