Trade Simons. Trade Nurk. Trade whoever, but DO NOT trade Shaedon Sharpe. If we trade him it would be a huge mistake.
You really don't trade Sharpe. You just don't. He has sooooooo much room to grow, and I expect him to make some leaps in abilty as big as his actual leaps.

This team is always pinching pennies. That’s why I’d be SHOCKED if they traded Sharpe. When you got a guy who flashes this much ability for 3 more years for this cheap, you don’t let him go.
I don’t know if it’s pinching pennies as much as it’s realizing our best chance at obtaining a star is drafting one. So trading a possible one away would be stupid.
Sorry, but it's not just your thread, Nate, it's something I see here all the time. People make up little scenarios that, as far as we know, the Blazers aren't even considering and then feel compelled to share just how ticked they're going to be IF the Blazers trade, or don't trade, Player X.
Here's the thing --- I understand why most if not everyone loves Sharpe but we also have to be real and realize that under the right conditions the team MIGHT have to trade Sharpe. If the Blazers have to trade him to get a top 30 ish player to put beside Dame then they have to consider it but it has to be for a true impact player. I do think Sharpe is the future but IF the fans want Dame to have a legit chance to get a ring then it's possible Sharpe might have to be sacrificed for that to happen and this is a truth some fans need to wrap there mind around. However I do realize IF he is traded there is a good chance this is Jermaine O'Neal for Dale Davis 2.0 and that would suck but worth it IF the team becomes a contender through any deal Sharpe might be in.
