Do you think that aubrun ran their mouth to much after they beat a good Va Tech that almost beat the national champions (Usc)
Auburn is not going to be that good next year. They don't have campbell, ron brown, or cadillac williams next year. I don't see them being too great next year.
This is why College football needs a playoff system. Keep the rankings the way they are and then take the top four teams in the country and have one play four and two play three. Have the winners play each other and BAM! A much less controversial championship game... And only one extra game of football for each team. It's rare that any team ranked below four or five is bitching that THEY should be the champs. Seriously...this would solve a ton of problems.
give it a 4 team playoff. This season would of slated Auburn vs OU and Texas vs USC. With the winners playing each other for the title. That would sound good to me.

Cal was more worthy than Texas? If this is true then they would of gotten a BCS Bowl and plus they got beat by Texas Tech in their Bowl. Utah and Boise St. don't play in major confernces so that would put them on the outside looking in. Only way I see a a team like that making it to a 4 team playoff like that is if they are undefeated and a the other 4th team (Texas) has 2 loses. No matter what they do there is going to be complaining in college football but a playoff would make it more fair for a team like Auburn this season and USC in 2004.
auburn wont be good without their Brown, Williams and Campbell. Its too bad too but they arent gonna be good
They will still be a bowl team Trey Smith is gonna rush for over a 1000 yards this year. There defense isn't to bad but I see 7 wins for Auburn this year.
7 wins - shitty season 2 or more losses = Shitty Season 1 loss and no trip to national title = ok season 1 loss and trip to title game with loss = good season 0 loss and no trip to national title = good season 0 loss and trip to title game with loss = good season 1 loss and trip to title game with win = Great season 0 loss and trip to title game with win = AWESOME season
