The Los Angeles Dodgers added two recently retired stars to their front office Tuesday, hiring four-time Cy Young award winner Greg Maddux and one-time All-Star Raul Ibanez as special assistants to president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman and his department.

Maddux, who was inducted into the Hall of Fame two years ago, finished his illustrious 23-year playing career with the Dodgers (who also employed him briefly in 2006), making eight starts with the club in 2008 before announcing his retirement.
