Starting for Scranton was Billy Traber and he pitched 2 scoreless innings giving up 1 hit for the no decision. Replacing Traber to start the 3rd inning was Steven Jackson and he pitched 2 scoreless innings giving up 2 hits. Following Jackson to start the 5th inning was Mark Melancon and he gave up 1 earned run on 1 hit in 2 innings.
