apparently there is a lot of talk about the Jets moving up to draft Matt Lienart... do u think this is a good idea for them?

Also what does everyone think of Leinart in the NFL?

I thought they had soured on taking a QB with the 1st pick. From what I heard they're interested in Kellen Clemens possibly in the 2nd round.

The word on Leinart is NFL ready, but doesn't have much "upside". He doesn't have a strong arm & as Mike Mayock pointed out on NFL Network that could be exposed at the Meadowlands. Just ask Pennington.

I think it would be a good move. Leinart is a proven winner has great poise and is everything you look for. Main question is his arm but I think he can overcome that and be a Phil Sims type of QB. Not a HOF but a good starter. Right now if they were to take Leinart I honestly see him starting over Pennington or Ramsey. I think he'll adjust faster to the NFL then any other QB in this Draft and I think he'd be ready to play right away for them.

i wouldnt like them taking Leinart if they have to move up on him they have so many other needs and i think Cutler will do better than him personally IMO if Cutler was starting on USC he'd be obvious #1 pick u never know though.

I brought it up cause i saw an article about it in a few places sayin that the Jets should move up i think it'll take too much they need those picks.

I think the jets will stay where they are.

Jet fans - attending the draft - will boo when they take Ferguson at #4.
