Best thing ever would be if Kanter opened up a Turkish Restaurant here. Turkey Time.....Turkish Delight...... Turkey Moo (only uses beef from his home country) get it?
That British Bus on Hawthrorne is a Turkish/Egyptian Coffee shop. Really nice shit over there and the owner is mad cool. Tov
Maybe the outfit that put Nurk in a van will offer Turkish Coffee and have EK deliver it on a donkey.
Sounds like Kanter is going to be on Colin Cowherd's show today. Probably gonna be all questions about Lebron somehow, but still...
I know absolutely nothing about this, but if I had to guess.......Hedo is going to lie. Anything else would be "unhealthy" for him and his family. I look forward to watching it.
Wow. I was just joking about all the questions being Lebron related, but Colin's first two questions referenced the Lakers, his next two referenced former Thunder teammates, the next was about Silver's comments about unhappy players, and the final question was about the elevator incident. Nothing about how the Blazers are playing, nothing about his role on the team, nothing about the playoffs, nothing about Turkey or the E60 story--completely worthless interview.
There were a few things I guess that were interesting: He said that he spurned the Lakers because he was turned off by his perception of their chemistry and drama, and that he just wanted to be able to focus on basketball. He told his agent that he didn't care about role or minutes; he just wanted to play in a place with a winning culture. The culture in Portland, both in terms of players and management, is exactly what he was looking for. Since NBA players are lucky to have a career that might last 14-15 years, with the amazing platform that the NBA provides, then he makes a point to enjoy and appreciate every second of it. Not just game time, but practice, road trip--all of it.
Disappointing that Hedo didn't have more to say. Just "Gülen is a terrorist; his followers are a terrorist organization", with no further clarification whatsoever. Makes it hard to give his side any credence at all.
