Five things YOU NEED to know about NHL 11. So awesomely, awesome... Realism for the win. Realism for the win. The new faceboffs seem so much better. This will be fun to try and master. Yay more fancy moves I can use with Kane and Toews! We can now score like Ovi did when he was on his back. Winner.
Uh, they do it in football too, the non american type football, real football. "A deke, sometimes known as a dangle, is an ice hockey technique which a player uses to get past an opponent or "fake out" a goalie. "
I guess? If you can replace the word deke with juke and the definition makes sense, then yeah, if not, then no.
Theres a lot of types when players deke, they put the puck behind them with the stick, or to their side, or pass it through an opponents legs. Its pretty cool.
Th EA NHL 11 Demo was released today. The Demo is 1.19 GB, so if you have the space I recommend you getting on XBL and downloading it. I will write a short review for the Demo.
So far so good. Some things I've noticed that are difficult to adapt to. -New Faceoff. Its fun, makes it more entertaining. I just need to practice more at it. -The Blackhawks roster is messed up, but its a demo so its no big deal. They just need to fix it for the release. -I beat the Windsor Spitfires =D -The Ultimate Hockey League is pretty fun to play. This was in Madden 10, and I enjoyed it there. But in NHL 11, theres a lot more leagues to play and more players to chose from. -When you score a goal, a spotlight is placed on the player. Nice. -Hitting is a lot better -Its a lot different than NHL 10. -Broken Sticks are awesome -I still suck at shootouts
Apparently there is a new button called the hustle button. You can use the hustle button if you are racing for the puck, trying to stop the icing or to get the breakaway.
