Just a friendly heads up. Not sure most of this info is being reported by regular news outlets. Earthquake activity around the pacific region has drastically increased over the last week. And continues as I type this. This includes increased activity in North, Central, South America, Indonesia and Asia. The quakes are both shallow and very deep, over such a huge area, and in such great numbers in such a short time, that more than local movements are involved. Also, in many areas there is a very large increase in the movement of magma, such as Yellowstone and Hawaii. You probably are aware of the two large volcano explosions in Indonesia within the last week. These 2 volcanoes are over 700 miles apart. And may only be the begining of more explosions in other regions. There are several "expert theories " worth knowing. The entire pacific crust may be shifting. If so, this has the potential to cause major chaos and destruction. The movement of the entire crust may be causing wave action within the liquid core. This large area of magma movement may result in more volcanic explosions. This is the time to prepare for a major shtf chaos event. Stay alert. Sorry for any spelling errors. My old eyes need new glasses, but, with the covid chaos, I'm staying away from unnecessary trips to town.
Question If the West coast of the United States breaks off, will we float? Frankly, if we float I'll be happy leaving the rest of our shit hole country, that likes Trump, behind.
Try DS.IRIS.EDU/SEISMON. Seismic monitor. This map shows the complete ring of recent earthquake activity around the pacific ocean. There are better and more complete interactive maps I have seen, but I do not subscribe to them. Most of the info I posted came from several very long professional reports that included the maps. I just posted my cliff note version. Not sure why the news sources are not reporting this?
always looks like this though usually those that occur offshore have the most effect. only small kine recently.
A 3.2 in Yamhill county... https://www.oregonlive.com/pacific-.../small-earthquake-strikes-yamhill-county.html
Kind of what you expect, I suppose, when you live on top of an active volcano merged with multiple other mostly inactive ones.
4.1 earthquake near Hawaii about 2 hours ago, followed by several smaller quakes. Here is the number of quakes in the last 24 hours, by magnitude. Most are around the Pacific plate. 5+...2 4-5..30 3-4..247 Less than mag 3...615 The good news is, none of these are the big one .
I read that there are 13 active volcanos in the Cascades in Oregon that are due to vent...but that the damage will stop about 50 miles east of Springfield in Lane County ...I have the Coastal range between my property and the ocean and I'm at 800ft above sea level....I may have island property one day
I bet you the Trump supporters on here don’t believe in earthquakes. And if you told them the best way to survive would be to stand in a doorway, they would refuse to do it!
