Abbotsford Heat General Manager Jay Feaster announced two transactions today. Forward David Eddy has been recalled from the Utah Grizzlies of the East Coast Hockey League and defenceman Nick Tuzzolino has been reassigned to the Utah Grizzlies of the ECHL. The Grizzlies are the ECHL affiliate of the Abbotsford Heat and Calgary Flames.

Eddy has played in six games this season with the Heat after missing the majority of the first half of the season due to injury. He has also played five games in Utah posting two assists and 28 minutes in penalties. Eddy played three seasons at St. Cloud State University before signing as a free agent with Calgary on March 20, 2012.

Tuzzolino, a native of Buffalo, NY, posted one goal and four penalty minutes in 11 games with the Heat since his December 17th call-up from Utah. Tuzzolino has played 18 games this season with the Grizzlies recording 13 points and accumulating 58 penalty minutes. The 6'5" defenseman played 60 games with Utah last season and served as the Grizzlies captain.
