Udoh hasn't played a single NBA game yet. Do you think a rookie should be throwing a party like this when he is injured for six months and hasn't shown what he can do? If his parents, mom or person who raised him is poor, then I can see him helping them out first. But I have no idea what his family background is like. http://tharealderickg.blogspot.com/2010/08/exclusive-party-ekpe-udoh-private-yacht.html
To each his own. He can spend his money however he likes. He earned it. Yes, he earned it because he got his contract based on what he did in college and where he was drafted. If he was doing this during the season, it might be a different story. This doesn't concern me at all.
Hell yes he should be doing this. His bust factor is high enough being drafted as a PF for GS and with the injury. Go get some ass and a yacht before you get Ike'd or POB'd.
hahahah, sad but true... this is one of the first seasons in a while where i haven't really anticipated what our new draft pick was gonna do...whatever.
Yeah hopefully it works in his favor. Usually we expect too much from our mediocre draft picks. With Udoh it seems like no one expects anything so if he gives us anything it'll be great. At least he has a combination of athleticism, a jumpshot, passing ability, and defensive prowess that Ike/POB never had. He wasn't a sexy pick and there's a good chance hes a career bench player but hes got some very nice redeeming qualities about him from day one. Hes not underathletic and dumb like Ike. Hes not lazy and not into the game like POB. Hes not out of control and raw like AR. Hes not uber light and weak like Wright. He doesn't have a lot of those deal breaker type of weaknesses. I also don't see crazy potential for him either though.
I'd laugh harder if it was Greg Monroe that did it and he was in Udoh's shoes. I just hope it's not the beginning of those U-Doh! moments -- too much partying before and after games.
It probably is better that he has a collection of skank-hos before he gets married else he ends up like Kobe or Tiger, i.e. start collecting after marriage.
