I'm trying to fill up my ipod during my workout sessions. Anything to avoid listening to my sprints coach.

    no rap or rock.

Just orchestral, classical, symphonies, w.e. you guys know what I mean.

    So far i've got:

    - Requiem, Des Iraes
    - Quintero: 300 Violin Orchestra
    - O fortuna
    - Lacrimosa

I've got a few more, but none that'll pump me up. Feel free to help me add to my playlist :D

I dig Mussorgsky's "Night on Bald Mountain". If that's not your cup of tea, try David Shire's interpretation "Night on Disco Mountain".

the last couple minutes of 1812--if you can find it get the Minnesota recording with the real Napoleonic cannons and carillon.

I'm more of a Tiesto/Oakenfold/Farina/Doc Martin guy when I'm running.

Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells might work for you. Give it a try.

Carmina Burana might as well - if you do not mind the heavy religious "feel".
