Here are the NBA player ranks released so far from ESPN; https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/32239384/nbarank-2021-ranking-best-players-2021-22-100-51 https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/32244615/nbarank-2021-ranking-best-players-2021-22-50-26 Utah and Atlanta have 6 players in the top 100, Portland has 5, and 13 teams have 4. EDIT see lists in posts 9-12 below. Here are the prior discussions in the around the NBA thread http://www.sportstwo.com/posts/5233286/
If you're going to list Kawhi as a top 25 despite his apparent exclusion, you probably should also include Jamal Murray in Denver's list as at least top 50.
Good point I forgot about Murray. I wasn't trying to make my own top25 list, I was trying to project ESPNs and it appears they removed Kawhi but I listed him because I wasn't certain.
I think you can make a pretty easy argument for 10-11 guys ahead of him. Especially if his defense continues to decline.
Butler was ranked 14th and he carried Miami to the finals... most players around the top10 can do that if they have the right teammates, situations, and a bit of luck.

Giannis Durant Curry Lebron (will turn 37 this year and has missed 60 games the last 3 seasons) Harden Jokic (Dame outplayed him in the playoffs; his teammates let him down) AD - can't stay healthy Kawhi - is hurt again Doncic - debatable if durability means anything, no, there's are not 10 players better
I've always understood homerism, don't respect it, but understand it. On a side note, the list I just looked at on ESPN had Dame at #8, 2 spots ahead of Harden at 10. And if anybody has any reason to gripe it's Kyrie. They have HIM at 20 and Beal at 11?????!!!?? Fuck outta' here with that!
Why? I'd take Beal ahead of Kyrie every day of the weak just because of availability and culture reasons alone. Kyrie is more efficient, but put Beal next to the guys Irving has played with (Tatum/KD/Harden/Lebron/etc) and I'm sure you'd see the same from Brad.
