    - Conor McGregor's coach John Kavanagh has said he should be ready to fight Eddie Alvarez
    - Yoel Romero would like to return at this event
    - Tim Kennedy vs. Rashad Evans might be the first fight announced
    - Al Iaquinta vs. Thiago Alves is expected for this event
    - Ronda Rousey will not be available as her return is still being negotiated
    - Chris Weidman is almost certain to fight at this event, along with Aljo Sterling

    IMO they have to add a meaningful HW fight on NY's first UFC card. It just feels right.

    The UFC is considering having all four guys fight in some combination in a semi-finals scenario. If that's the case they might want to separate Weidman and Rockhold since Jacare and Romero just fought.

    Rockhold was on a podcast and stated he may be retiring. He's finding it hard to find the motivation to come back to the UFC because modeling agencies have been reaching out to him and offering him much more money than his UFC contract. He says the only way he can see himself coming back right now is if the pay is right.

    Sounds like a ploy to me for more money from the UFC. The modeling agencies just started pouring the offers in? Everyone is trying to get on that Nate and Conor level pay wise apparently. No way Luke finishes his career being KTFO by pillow fist Bisping.

    I think Luke's ego is speaking here. He's supposedly dating Demi Lovato and I think he thinks he's bigger in the MMA world than he actually is. I don't think fans care if he comes back or not, he's not a money maker that appeals to the casual fan.
