I'm sure I'm late to the party but damn, I have no respect for KD going to GS. When LeBron went to Heat, he wasn't going to a team that had already won it all two years before without him. He had to build something there. KD is the worst coattail rider ever. What a dick. I hope we're 8 seed so that we can bounce them out in the first round 2007-Warrior style.

Durant will win a ring with GS and then demand to be traded to the Blazers.

Sam Amick just implied that they do a public address prayer before each OKC game.

I did respect KD for his No-nonsense competitiveness -
Alas, Fuck Durant for his easy route taking, coat-tail riding skulduggery!

His one decision unbalanced the competitiveness of the league as a whole. . .
Should have been nullified by the league (ala the CP3 to Lakers deal) to maintain balance.

Durant signed as a free agent. CP3 to the Lakers was a trade. I don't think free agency signings can be nullified by the league.

completely different deals. CP3 to the lakers was a trade and it was nullified by the Owners who were technically all part owners of the Hornets at that moment and were incensed that a team they were actively trying to sell wanted to take on a ton of long term money. Durant was just a FA move.

Because the #1 seed that year had 4 big time players on it.

I like your bold vision and playoff fantasy regarding our chances facing the Dubs in the playoffs. Chuck is wayne.jpg

That #1 seed went 67-11 after an 0-4 start. They were a great team. Dirk was MVP.

Still, league could've stepped in. I hear this team hopping is going to end after this season because, with new CBA, you can make like $50 million more if you re-sign with your team. No one's going to turn that kind of money down.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
No, they couldn't have. Just like the league can't "step in" and make the Blazers the #1 seed. They can't just make your desires reality.

League couldn't have stepped in. Its FA if Lebron wanted to make 1m and go paly for the Warriors he could as long as they don't have proof that they are doing something under the table to get him.

No he can't, there is a players union and the owners that are all checks on Silvers power.

So 1 MVP... when GS has 2.

Right. Sorry, I didn't know our chances were THAT good.

Appears like there was a league directive to make KD look positive tonight to repair his shitty image from fans. From announcers, to flashbacks, to the NBA instagram story...all fluff. They even didn't show the player intros live either.
