It was awesome. I hate hockey but it won't stop from supporting Team Canada. You'll only see me watching hockey during the Winter Olympics.
I wish I'd been alive to see the Team USA win. Its an incredible story, no matter what nationality you are. I have so many more Winter Olympics memories, just because I find them more interesting. Aside from the obvious one Bas posted, mine would include Ross Rebagliati winning a '98 gold medal in the first Olympic snowboarding event (before all the marijuana nonsense), Cindy Klassen winning 5 speedskating medals in the the Turin Olympics, and Dominek Hasek leading the Czech hockey team to the '98 gold medal. Even though they eliminated Canada in the semis (a year before he did the same to the Leafs, no less), that was one of the most dominating string of performances ever put on by one of the greatest goalies in his prime.
