I'm Favred out. I just want him to go away. I understand he should be able to play when ever he wants, but like... *sigh* My summer is gone. Favre will dominate ESPN.
This soap opera is interesting though, I'm not a Viking hater or anything either good luck to that team.
Anyone who knows Brett Favre and has followed him really has seen this coming forever. I felt that he was trying to play in Minnesota along time ago. I think him and his agent manipulated the system to their advantage so Favre could get to Minnesota. Even right now I think it's clear that Childress and Favre have had a gentleman's agreement that if Favre's bicep is healed, he'll come back and play. Whether you're Favred out or not. Seeing Favre as a Viking taking on the Packers is going to must-see TV. My guess is it could win a Golden Globe for Best Drama
Agree completely, I have to watch this. I am so sick of the retiring drama thing but I can't help it.
Even though he's been overrated the past couple seasons, his addition makes the Vikings a really scary team. I honestly don't see a significant weakness on their team if they solidify the QB spot. Also, I agree that the Green Bay/Minnesota games would be epic.
It's not that I'm "Favred out", I would just find it funny if he tried to play again...FOR ANOTHER TEAM!! Why us? Why???!?
Awesome news. It would've been fun to watch him fail again, but now I don't have to deal with all that coverage and the possibility that the Vikings become legitimate contenders.
Sage Rosenfels is their man right? If they entered this season with Tavaris atop their depth chart, Childress should have been fired.
