The man who served as former president George W Bush's most senior ethics lawyer has suggested that the FBI is "uncovering evidence of treason" by far right US news websites over their links with Russia. Richard Painter tweeted a link to an article suggesting that the Bureau was looking into news outlets like Breitbart News, InfoWars and the Kremlin-backed RT News and Sputnik News, to see whether they worked with Russian-backed operatives to disseminate stories favouring Donald Trump during the presidential election. at times when his campaign appeared to be struggling. Sources told US publisher, McClatchy that online "bots" had created created millions of social media posts linking to articles on the sites, some of which were completely false, while other contained a mixture of fact and fiction. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/w...tes-george-w-bush-ethics-lawyer-a7644966.html
I don't know if it is news, but the Russians did not influence me into voting for Trump. However, if they did swing the deal with Magnifier, I am grateful.
Come to think of it, there is a helll of a lot of noise being made by Democrats about Russians. It doesn't make any sense! Geez, I bet there isn't a person on this board the Russians persuaded to vote for Trump! Why the hell make a to do about anyone so ineffectual? Of course the ineffectual is understandable give most of you would rather give up a left nut rather than accept Trump. So your worry about the Russians is mind boggling! Seems sort of like my old friend, no longer with us, and his favorite hunting dog. My friend gave up hunting, so I ask him why? It seems when they went out, old Rex (his favorite hound) would sniff the ground and then run to the closest tree and begin his howl. My friend figure it out after a couple trips, the old dog just got lazy, and go howl up the nearest tree rather than work.
The loudest anti Russian element in DC is the GOP....John McCain is not a Democrat....there's that line in the sand again
I don't know what John McCain is. The man hardly ever speaks anything I can agree with. Line? You got me puzzled.
