Each athlete is very important to be able to engage in their favorite thing: give all the best in training, performing in competitions, defending the honor of the motherland. During his time at the Ministry, I was able to work on the development of the arts, has worked closely with the presidents of sports federations recognized the problem from within the sport, to the extent their capabilities trying to solve them. But now I feel that it is time to return to the ring. I was able to recover and heal old wounds. The last three years I have maintained the physical form, but this level is not enough to go into battle. Therefore recently I started intensive training. We have assembled a team of versatile coaches and athletes who will help me in the training process. I will try to participate in professional growth fighters. There is still work to do to prepare to leave the ring. Negotiations are underway with companies that conduct battles. Once agreements are reached, there will be information on the date of the fight and rival

Fedor last fought in 2012, defeating Pedro Rizzo.

The 38-year old had a good working relationship with Scott Coker and could reunite with the now-Bellator promoter if he's planning on fighting stateside.

In a world where Arlovski can win a couple of fights and be discussed as a contender, I guess anything is possible.

If Cro-cop can be relevant, can't see why Fedor can't be competitive.

After his Strikeforce skid he looked a lot better. Granted, the fights were in Russia or Japan...

Also--that Instagram pic--I'm sure someone gave him that bread at the airport but I like to think he was waiting for someone with it. Also, is that bowtie pasta on it?

They might just be trying to get an offer from the UFC to leverage against other promotions but Vadim says signing with the UFC is as possibility since there is 'no bad blood' and M-1 isn't interested in co-promoting anymore.

Tito Ortiz has offered to fight at a catch-weight (220 presumably). It is a sensible match-up and Fedor might be better off at LHW (eventually) this time around.
