I still like Trent a lot but it seems clear to me that he will never be better than CJ.
Hood looked better than Trent today. Not bad for a guy some wanted to bury on the bench.
He is working himself back into shape.

    Serious Question:
If Tom Thibodeau magically became our coach today, how much PT would Kanter and Melo get?
    Would Melo survive the deadline?

I think a bigger question would be, how soon before Damian would want him fired?

Not unless Damian gets tired of winning.

...and you're missing or ignoring the point: a good defensive coach wouldn't play Melo or Kanter much at all.

oh, no I got your point. I'm not sure Thibs would be a winner. He has a reputation of burning his team out quickly, and I'm not so sure he's a winner.

His winning in chicago came at a big cost too.

I think Thibs would be a disaster because he has a deserved reputation of grinding his best players into the floor. Dame would average 40 minutes under Thibs

This is by far the most talented roster I've ever coached. But fuck if I know what to do with these guys. I figure I'd just tell RoCo and JRR to watch tape of what Aminu and Harkless did. They're both WAY better players, so we should be a WAY better team, right?

Nothing is clear with this coach. I wish this team would get a fresh perspective to see how these players could do under a real coach with a real plan.

There are so many great coaches right here in S2 that I'm amazed none are earning the big bucks someplace.

How do you think the lady in the big chair measures Neil's performance? Do you think she delegates/deledumps that to someone else?

Well, I know that I am holding out for an offer to be a GM, so that might explain it in my case.

focusing on Stotts being fired is focusing on the wrong vacancy

seasons will keep going bad as long as the same GM is in place

Stotts is the 4th longest tenured coach in the league. The 3 ahead of him: Popovich, Spoelstra and Carlisle. All 3 have championships.

    It’s time. It’s time.

We allowed the worst 3pt shooting team to hit 45% of their shots from downtown tonight. Notice how every team "just gets hot" or it "just becomes their night" when they play the Blazers?

Look what Thibs did with an absolute joke of a roster in New York and then look what Terry has done with our roster. We have some really good defenders and we still suck.

I’m probably 90% certain Stotts will be allowed to ride out this season and that’ll be it. And I can NOT wait just simply because I won’t have to read about it anymore.
